For those of you who know me, you know that I love my green tea.
When we have debilitating illnesses like Fibromyalgia that means we are not as mobile as before, things like Green tea can be a useful inclusion to your Fibro Treatment plan. I say this because it is an anti-oxidant meaning that it helps our bodies get rid of the nasty toxins, which, when they build up contribute to our pain levels.
I must state that we are all different though and some things work for some and not others but increasing the amount of anti-oxidants in our diets can be a helpful move to to make. I notice a lot of difference when I’m not ingesting green tea because I’ve run out of it. There are many benefits to Green tea besides what I mention and this article helps to explain a few of them.
Please remember that I am not a medical professional just a fellow fibromite sharing some info with you 🙂
If considering trying a new treatment please have a friendly chat about it with your GP first to make sure it is ok to do so, sometimes there can be clashes between medications and herbal products for instance :-)
