- Cholesterol – knowing good from bad
‘When you’re not very mobile due to chronic illness it is very easy to develop a cholesterol problem as I found many years ago. Not many people realise the dangers of it and associate it with people who carry more weight than they should, but they shouldn’t because even people of the fitter, and slimmer builds, can still have a cholesterol problem.
I am of course highlighting the importance of this to try and rectify this misconception within chronic communities and as well the public in general.
This article by The British Heart Foundation is a useful and educational read’

Eyeforpharma – Mission statement:
Our mission is to make pharma more open and valued
The ultimate driver for the pharmaceutical industry’s health is meeting the needs of patients, otherwise it will cease to matter. For healthcare to be as good as it could be, the strength, skills and resources of our industry need to be fully integrated into health outcomes and we need pharma experience at the decision-making table.
We believe the industry must focus on a business model combining service with product, with patients at the center.
My Disability Matters News & Opinion Digest has moved to it’s own space and will still be updated regularly. Why not pop along and join the MDM Club / Community Platform and meet Dale Reardon, it’s founder, while your there.
Paper.Li newsletters have also moved to their own ‘digested’ post and they update themselves.
