#AAPM American Academy Pain Management

AAPM Meeting Called Cohesive and Focused | Beth Darnall, Ph.D  |  National Pain Report  |  1 May 2018

“The imperative to address the suffering of individuals with chronic pain was a major theme throughout the conference. A one-size-fits-all approach flies in the face of everything we know about pain. Pain is fundamentally individual and requires individual approaches. As such, great concern was expressed for rigid rules and policing around pain treatments.

Opening paragraph:

‘A recent story arc on NBC’s Chicago Fire involved firefighter Otis (Yuriy Sardarov) struggling to regain his job after being shot during a routine call. The situation was grim – the bullet hit Otis in the neck, dangerously close to the spine , necessitating an operation which might paralyze or kill him. Yet to opt out of the operation might also prove detrimental.

Good advice!

Don’t Agonize, Mobilize  |  Cindy Perlin LCSW  | National Pain Report | 29 April 2018

‘Build up exercise gradually. When I injured my back 40 years ago, the conventional medical wisdom was to rest. I stayed in bed six weeks and felt even worse. Then a more astute doctor told that was the worst thing I could do and to get back to living my life the best I could. I was so weak from staying in bed so long that I couldn’t manage a walk around the block. An exercise program for people with bad backs at the YMCA helped me get moving again. I subsequently took up swimming, which has been a lifesaver for me.’  Cindy Perlin from the text

Every morning and evening I was posting several links to a variety of online newspapers and thought that maybe I could post twice a day from here, our website/blog, Morning and Evening Post instead.

This is to ensure that all the news and stories go out to everyone that follows us across the social media platforms that we have profiles/accounts.

Here’s a few links to my favourite online newspapers for finding a variety of health related news from other Chronic Illness Bloggers & Warriors, for up to date news about health conditions such as latest research papers or people sharing hints and tips about how they cope day-to-day.

Also like to share other posts by fellow bloggers and organisations too

Let us help them by showing our support by sharing the news and stories that they share.

If you publish a health related paper.li or other health news magazine/paper that isn’t listed and you would like it to be, please contact me – Carole Sian at fibroflutters@gmail.com and let me know, always happy to help 🙂

Many thanks for reading and helping to share the news that other folks like you write, or, find.

Many thanks SQUARE POSTER Communit
