30 years after Prozac arrived, we still buy the lie that chemical imbalances cause depression | Olivia Goldhill | Quartz

A superbly written post about how depression, chemical imbalances and medications have been viewed and used over time, including Prozac a super drug released for the use of treating depression 30 years ago.

Although it is a longish read it is exceptionally educational for anyone with an interest in the biography of treatments of mental illness.
