Do you have constant pain? This article may interest you!

Constant pain means you need a program or protocol to treat your basic injury or disease. One that reduces electric impulses and helps rebuild the damage to the NTRS in your spinal cord and brain. Symptomatic pain relievers are usually a must, but they don’t treat or reverse your basic problem.

Do you have constant pain?

This article discusses a different type of pain syndrome that is being researched called ‘Intractable Pain Syndrome’. It is only a brief piece but it does touch on a few chronic diseases and disorders that can cause it. A syndrome that is believed to be a complication of trauma, or injury. To many this may sound familiar as another pain disorder call ed fibromyalgia has also been described in a similar way. However, fibromyalgia is not mentioned at all in relation to the content of this article. I you do have constant pain you might find that this article relates to you. Remember though! If it is does please do not self diagnose but go and speak to your doctor, or specialist.

Having Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome myself I must admit that I have been pondering over this since November. The problem is that I couldn’t find where I’d saved this article so I could not take it to my GP. It drove me quite batty looking for it so when I came across it during a tidy up of my emails I clapped with glee. It is difficult to get anyone to hear you without having the written piece to show them!

Advocating for a Multi-Disciplinary approach to all aspects of medical healthcare.

To help develop, nurture and help to create a multidisciplinary approach to all aspects of medical healthcare so that #chronicillness & #raredisease patients can receive the type of care and treatments that they need.

The work we do involves disease awareness, health awareness, and, helping to point people in the direction of where to get legitimate health communications and information. As well as this we attend events and use patient voice to get important messages to help create better systems and processes for patients.

Bridging the gap between stakeholders is a different type of awareness raising. It involves sharing events and campaigns by clinicians, pharmaceutical companies, patient led projects, healthcare providers… the list is quite variable. We have newsletters to ensue this which uses our slogan – #chronicillnessVOICE for everyone #notjustpatients
