Article from HMSA – Anaesthetic and JHS / EDS – Posted By Alan Hakim, June 29, 2013

I am sharing this article to our group blogsite because of the problems some of us have experienced during surgery regarding anaethetic, meaning procedures such as dental work or arthroscopies for examples under local or general anaesthetic, even major surgery can cause severe longstanding pain afterwards and healing appears to beslower than normal.

My experience with surgery so far has been far from pleasant and can easily state that adequate pain relief is rarely given but that’s because no-one seems to listen to what I say about it.  I’m facing a surgical procedure again within a week or so and am already dreading the chronic pain & ilness which will follow during recouperation.

What has your experience been like having fibro and/or JHS/EDS?

Anaesthetic and JHS / EDS.
