These are a couple of interesting articles discussing how the little blood vessels in our hands are possibly the origins behind Fibromyalgia illness.
Research was conducted by Integrated Tissue Dynamics (INTiDYN), which found that people with fibromyalgia have excessive sensory nerve fibers around specialized blood vessel structures located in the palms of the hands. This is discussed in this first Article.

Following on from this INTiDYN pursued their studies a little further and 13 months later Dr. Frank Rice, President and Chief Scientist at INTiDYN provided an update to their initial research and that is discussed in the second article.
