This is just a selection of pictures of places for using your imagination. For you to view and disappear within while you relax and imagine yourself there. Using your mind you can take a walk along the path and wander off somewhere nice. You could lay by the pool and feel the warmth of the sun and remind yourself of that favourite holiday. Sometimes it is just great to sit still, switch off and just gaze into into the wilderness.

Living with chronic illness, chronic pain, fatigue and anxiety is very stressful and can often be difficult to manage. If you have several chronic conditions the wear and tear of it all can cause you more problems. For instance,

Meditation is a useful tool for managing pain and anxiety and is something that is included within my daily routine. Okay, it isn’t for everyone! The work we do involves disease awareness, health awareness, and, helping to point people in the direction of where to get legitimate health communications and information. As well as this we attend events and use patient voice to get important messages to help create better systems and processes for patients.

Bridging the gap between stakeholders is a different type of awareness raising. It involves sharing events and campaigns by clinicians, pharmaceutical companies, patient led projects, healthcare providers… the list is quite variable. We have newsletters to ensue this which uses our slogan – #chronicillnessVOICE for everyone #notjustpatients
